I didn't think about comparing them to Project Crunk though.

It has nothing to do with effort, I think. I heard the MDC stayed in school up to MIDNIGHT on some days to practise. Not to be mean, but what I can conclude is that a handful of them can't really dance. Kudos to them for a good attempt though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5087462627409496584.post-44664430487947689382008-08-01T14:17:00.000+08:002008-08-01T14:17:00.000+08:00"Crictising them/comparing them is okay but then....."Crictising them/comparing them is okay but then.. their efforts should be recognized because being JC students, they do not have all the time in the world to dance and practice. The choreographer had NDP as well, which clashed with her MDC. Also, we need to bear in mind that they had other events to choreograph for, like Watercolours which was only a few days before Dancefest.

Admittedly, I didn't watch the dancers at Dancefest. I did, however, get the chance to watch one of their rehearsals, and I thought they were pretty good.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5087462627409496584.post-44527294722605953282008-07-30T20:27:00.000+08:002008-07-30T20:27:00.000+08:00Good opinion, nabilah. = )Good opinion, nabilah. = )Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5087462627409496584.post-56639338636695287722008-07-29T21:19:00.000+08:002008-07-29T21:19:00.000+08:00Bearing in mind that this event is by MDC themselv...Bearing in mind that this event is by MDC themselves, I think they would have definitely put in their utmost effort.

Sure there was no energy, but TPJC students in the audience could have cheered and bring the spirits up by motivating. Perhaps the fact that they did 3items and they had to remember so many steps, their energy had been really drained.

Crictising them/comparing them is okay but then.. their efforts should be recognized because being JC students, they do not have all the time in the world to dance and practice. We hope that they'll improve and give more energetic performances in future.

Thanks. Goodjob to all dancefestdancers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
